The landmark project to beautify and rehabilitate Sg. Melaka and its riverine embankment was the single biggest infrastructure development undertaken by the Malacca Historic City Council. It was also PMSB’s first mega Design and Build project. The project sought to improve the condition of Sg. Melaka as well as integrate urban design elements to enhance the potential and characteristics of both the river and Old Melaka as important tourist and historical attractions.
