Pesona Metro is tasked to construct the Package 3E2 of the "Central Spine Road" project consisting of a 14-km highway connecting Merapoh and Kg. Kubang Rusa. This project is an extension of Packages 3F1 and 3F2 previously completed by Pesona Metro.

This highway is a dual-carriageway where realignment of the highway was conducted to preserve and sustain the wildlife found in the existing caves and rock hills in the nearby Taman Negara in Pahang.
