On 13 August 2016, a bus load of Pesona Metro employees set foot at the Lovely Nursing Centre ("LNC") at Petaling Jaya, Selangor, a home for the homeless and neglected senior citizens. This is a home to 46 residents referred by authorities, welfare centres and hospitals.

LNC is a voluntary body which is not supported by the government. Therefore, their existence depends solely on assistance from the public. In view of their dire situation, the management and staff of Peson Metro stepped forward to bring them cheer and assist them with daily provisions and funds.

While some staff spent time talking and listening to the stories told by the residents, others busied themselves with small repairs for the home.

PM believes that the responsibility to care for the helpless senior citizens should not only rest on these individuals who selflessly give their time and money for this communities, but it is a burden to be shared by corporate bodies as well.
